A blanket and a beach,
Some stars and the waves.
These simple things,
Are all my heart craves.
A summer afternoon,
Ended with “I Love You”,
Falling harder than I meant,
Is all that I could do.
A soft touch on my shoulder,
And a whisper in my ear.
Knowing in my heart,
There’s nothing left to fear.
I close my eyes and fall,
Into this deep unknown.
Trusting with my all,
In everything you’ve shown.
To share a life with you,
To share eternity,
Looking at my future,
That’s all I seem to see.
The chance to call you wife,
And hold our child tight,
Seems to me to echo,
How “This Just Feels Right”.
